Good Dogs Want Good Humans

I believe dogs bring out the best in us humans, so when I started to think through how to incorporate merch into our site, I wanted to do it in a way that would make Sprout proud and all of you excited to be a part of. And so came my decision to donate the profits we make to various causes. I am also very grateful for your support of that, as none of this would be possible without your purchases or your trust in me.

This is our collective initiative, and so I want to be transparent about what we’re doing and the impact you are helping us make.

Since 2016, our merchandise and other giving initiatives such as contests or fundraising events have led to over $10,000 being donated by or in connection with our account.

This Season’s Giving: Since October 2020, we have directly donated $6,403:

  • $1,234 to the National Brussels Griffon Rescue Association from Oct-Jan calendar profits and our #givingtuesday fundraiser (last donated 2/27/21)

  • $1,234 to the Humane Society, from Oct-Jan calendar profits and our #givingtuesday fundraiser (last donated 2/27/21)

  • $2,370 to To Write Love on Her Arms, from Nov-Dec Sunshine Collection merch profits, our #givingtuesday fundraiser, and supports of The Sunshine Project (last donated 2/27/21)

  • $445 to the Paws of Winter Fund (Senior and Special Needs rescue Griffons), from our Nov-Dec Wilt Pouterson pin profits #givingtuesday fundraiser (last donated 2/27/21)

  • $875 to the Animal Legal Defense Fund, from Nov-Jan merch profits and our #givingtuesday fundraiser (last donated 2/27/21)

  • $245 to Social Tees Animal Rescue, from our final Sprout Bowtie pin profits (last donated 12/19/20)
